The Wiregrass Birth Network is a non-profit organization committed to helping women and families have a safe & fulfilling pregnancy and birth experience.

Our goal is to empower women in their roles as health care consumers. We promote an awareness of evidence-based care and informed decision making through advocacy, education and support.
Our organization promotes the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative. We are also in alignment with the Lamaze Six Care Practices that Support Normal Birth.
We strive to provide educational opportunities throughout the year, so check back often for new events!
If you would like to be a part of this organization, whether in a professional or community capacity, please don't hesitate to contact us at wiregrassbirthnetwork@gmail.com!
You can also visit our Birth Network National page at birthnetwork.org!
There are so many ways to support the Wiregrass Birth Network. Use any of the following options, or just make a donation to us at a Network Meeting.
We are currently compiling a database of birth stories to help moms-to-be select an OB/GYN, midwife or family practice doctor with whom she will be philosophically aligned, and you can help!
Submit your birth story to the Network!
You can choose to submit anonymously or include your contact information so that other women can contact you to ask questions about your provider. Please indicate if you would like your story to be included on the website, or only listed for distribution to interested moms.
Both "positive" and "negative" birth stories are welcome.
Looking for information on a provider or place of birth, email us! We will try to match you up with someone who has given birth with that provider, or in that birth place!
